My cubs would go NUTS for that - the little one esp!! They are getting a WII, so they will be pretty darn happy!!! The older one is getting one of those Ripsticks - - and little one a new scooter - so guess I'll go up our insurance coverage - ack!

Watch the scooter. DD took a header off of hers at school the other day, and went face-first into a cement trash can. Ouch!

I've been making Christmas cards all week! It is a simple, but time consuming design this year. Winnie has been helping me. You should probably get your cards before Christmas.....but maybe after!

I can't wait...I love PD's Christmas Cards. It's why we call her QOTU!

They are neat, and she LOVES dolls, but at $165, she could have had a LOT of toys... she was adamant that she won't mind that Meag has more presents than she does, but we'll see how she reacts when it actually happens. I did add a calendar for each of them, Hannah for Catie and Horses for Meagan, and we got her shooting glasses and stuff for the bb gun too, so she'll have a couple extra presents to open, but it will be a lot more for sis.

Have you seen Caties doll? DOes it look a lot like her? I'm so curious about them!

my dh is taking the little ones to hockey then anthony has to time keep after that so i volunteered to stay home and clean... Yes I am that desperate for time alone

I hope it was good!! I'm supposed to get my alone time tonight when DH takes the cubs to karate (hi-YA!) Buutttttt.......so far the plans are 1. go to a different Ann Taylor Loft than I went to this AM to get the sweater for my sis that they didnt have in her size at the other store or on-line 2. Make 2 dozen deviled eggs for the office potluck tomorrow 3. finish any last minute on-line shopping as its the last day most will ship out, non-expidited 4. pass out under a warm blanket as it seems I am fighting a bodacoius cold. Bummer . So....no gym for me tonight.

I WILL re-watch the video of this mornings play my younger cub was in (took the am off to wathc it and shop.) It was REALLY cute as only kindergarteners can be.

Have you seen Caties doll? DOes it look a lot like her? I'm so curious about them!

I have seen Catie's doll, and it does KINDA, but the face seems narrower to me, I think. Catie has little chipmunk cheeks, and the doll didn't seem to have that as much, but it does have the same basic face shape, eye shape and color, hair is SO much the same color & style, just a little longer than Catie's is now since the pictures I sent were when it was a bit longer. Coloring is the same, too. I think she is going to adore it! She says she is naming her Marie (but pronouncing it Maria). Don't know what makes her want to pick that name, but sounds okay to me. It is really cute.

I do think she is going to have a bit of an attitude about Meagan's presents though, she knows that Meag's "big" present is a tv, and she's a little offended by that, but I have tried to make her understand that she insisted that she wanted this doll, and they don't have "sale" pricing on it, so it was $165, whereas the tv for Meag was on the day after thanksgiving sales for $99 (It is a 19" tv, not an LCD or anything, just a regular digital tv), and everything else was really like $10 or $20, with the exception of the Camp Rock guitar, which was $40, but it is from Santa, as is Catie's bbgun, which was also $40. I was very careful to match the prices, they are within $3 of being exact, so I thought that was pretty good.

My time alone was nice I chatted online with Heather and picked up the front room then worked on my christmas projects...


I bet the play was great. They work so hard and man are they cute doing that stuff. Emily's class went caroling we went to the kindergarden room and the office and the kids were tired hey can't expect too much from a bunch of 4 year olds..

Neither, because I really worry that she doesn't have a helmet. She zooms on that thing, and I just don't want her to crack her skull. We've already spent a ton filling up that thing(her skull) with knowledge.

It's not that she doesn't have a helmet. It's just darn difficult to force an 18 y.o. to wear one.

Speaking of Santa, I sat on his lap today. He came to see the kids, and when I went to give him a hug, he pulled me onto his lap. Too bad he didn't look like the Santa in that email that was going around. it was still fun, though, and the kids got a kick out of it.
