My dad has been laughing at me for the past hour because all I've been playing is Beach Boys. I love Good Vibrations.

Great pictures! Looks like ya'll had lots of fun! That wasn't your TR was it? Mackensie is soooo cute, she is really growing quickly.

We just got home from DL. DD ran into Thane from So You Think You Can Dance, but she won't let me post the picture. Anyway, we had a great time. Sadly, when we got home, DS's hamster was dead, so we had to have a funeral before we unpacked Our friend who was checking on him said he was fine this morning. Too sad.

Congratulations to Mike! (I'm assuming the answer was yes seeing as they had the engagement picnic! ) OOOO...you're going to be a mother-in-law!

Yeah, a mother-in-law!! But as little as I see Mike, no telling how it will go! Probably not to different than now...

And a MIL for a long while too! Seems neither set will have kids, or if they do Mike will have dogs & if Chip & Samantha ever get there, they will wait a while to adopt. guess I'll just have to enjoy the parent/child classes I teach to enjoy baby snuggles!

Kiki, that does sound like fun. We did that for the older boys one Easter, had them all over the yard, the court, around cars..! I loved it anyway!

This weekend was pretty interesting. On Saturday, Mike asked his girlfriend to marry him, treated her to get hair & nails done and then surprised her at friends of her parents house for an engagment picnic. it was really great. They aren't getting married until next summer, but Mike has said something about wanting to do it in the Carribean. I may have to get a passport after all!

Sounds like a miracle...especially since that stadium was torn down somewhere around 1985, and was vacant quite a few years before that

Thanks again for all the sympathy and shoulders. I actually let myself feel a bit better about it only to be greeted with news on the tv that the governor is giong to start a state hiring freeze. I dont know when it will take effect and if pre-existing jobs can still be filled. Ack...

Funny thing is that he told me that, but SHE said it hadn't really been any discussion on that since this was a surprise. So who knows

He seems to be like this toward her. He still has a few tattoo's he wants to get and she told him no way a few years ago, and he hasn't. Course she doesn't like his "chin strap" and he still has it.

Chip at the party. If you can see it, his shirt says it all! He is talking to Sam on the phone.
