Well, I"m pretty happy today - went to the docs to have my nose looked at - my primary care doc wanted them to "rule out cancer"....the derms diagnosis? Rosacia; it took all of 1 minute! NO biopsy; no nuttin!

On the other hand I am home now w/ a sick cub....but he's on the mend too. He had a VERY high fever last night, its lower now but he's achey, etc. Hopefully, he'll be back at it tomorrow.

Great news Gingerbear that you don't have cancer. They just found 2 more spots on my poor mom's paw. They are running some tests on it before they remove the cancer. So sorry about your little cub, hope he feels better soon.

Sidenote-- I can't wait for my ds to meet you, someone sent me a picture of a bear with a bumble bee on its nose & Muscles thought it was a dog. City boy isn't he!

Sidenote-- I can't wait for my ds to meet you, someone sent me a picture of a bear with a bumble bee on its nose & Muscles thought it was a dog. City boy isn't he!

Figure this as good a place a any to ask for prayers for my family. Just got off the phone with my Mom. My baby sis (ok so she is 35 but heck that IS ten yrs younger than me) was just diagnosed with an EXTREMELY RARE but very invasive form of Cancer They found a growth behind her knee and it will have to be removed soon in what will be a long and hard surgery since it tends to "spider outwards" towards other cells. PLEASE PLEASE pray since if it has metathesized (did i even come close to the correct spelling?) the survival rate is only about 25 - 30 % She has two young boys, one who just ran away from home to his dad's house --- the relationship had ended poorly but the kid still wants to live with an ABUSIVE man.

Phew that is a lot for me to take in while I nurse a sick ducky. (oh and a back that i have pulled terribly from picking her up one evening)

Good afternoon, all! Looks like I missed a bunch over the weekend. I took off Friday cause they were forecasting more snow and my back had been bothering me, so I thought stay home, rest, relax... I ended up going to the dr and they put me on Flexeril and Percocet. IF I take them both, I don't feel much pain at all, but I am also sleeping! Needless to say I am not taking them together today! Saturday we had a family bday party for my sis and bil, went out to Outback and then back to Mom's for cake. Sunday Catie and I were supposed to sing at Mom's church, but Catie woke up running a fever of 101, so she stayed home, I sang a solo, and then my family took Meagan with them for the afternoon, took her out to lunch and then to see the new horse my sis is buying. Meag loved it. I went home and curled up in bed with Catie and SLEPT most of the afternoon, of course. Catie is home today with her grandma, still running a bit of fever.

My baby sis (ok so she is 35 but heck that IS ten yrs younger than me) was just diagnosed with an EXTREMELY RARE but very invasive form of Cancer They found a growth behind her knee and it will have to be removed soon in what will be a long and hard surgery since it tends to "spider outwards" towards other cells. PLEASE PLEASE pray since if it has metathesized (did i even come close to the correct spelling?) the survival rate is only about 25 - 30 % She has two young boys, one who just ran away from home to his dad's house --- the relationship had ended poorly but the kid still wants to live with an ABUSIVE man.

My little one and I are going to make big brother some brownies now - wish us (me!) luck!

ps - did any of you guys apply for that "Disney Moms CLub" when it came out last year? I did (along w/ about 10,000 others... )and even though I didn't get in it, today I received a packet w/ a mouse pad, car magnet, and, my fav part, two Tink pins!! (I do Tink, Mary.....really I do!!! Especially when she on a fREE trading pin!! ) Hope some of you get it too!

I'll have to keep Amanda home tomorrow since I can't get her to the doctors until tomorrow evening. If I'm still as dizzy as I am now, I'll have to keep alyssa home too.

thanks, all! Catie is still feverish and has a VERY sore throat, we are thinking probably strep. We have an appointment for her tomorrow morning @ 10:45, I guess we will see what happens! Sorry to everyone for the sicknesses you are experiencing, isn't it miserable??
