Igot myself a bike for $15. Jeff was with me so he is excited that I can ride with him now. I was showing off that yes, mom can ride a bike, when I fell over! Thank goodness I landed on some very soft grass.

Yeah, after that first moment of panic, thinking mom might be hurt, he was offering to drive my truck with a clutch!! He so wants too drive and he has to wait, maybe longer than others, since he is behind in school. Think I can get him to wait an extra year or 2 until he is in 10th grade?

If you think of the work week as a mountain, Wednesday is the hump in the middle. Every week, when I wake up on Wed. morning, I think that I'm over the hump and that the rest of the week is downhill (in a good way) .

Hey kids...I've not been on the DIS much because I have been as busy as can be!!!!! However, I do understand that as the QOTU, I am responsible for starting the part 4 thread when we get there! Gotcha covered Limeys, but I won't start part 4 until we actually hit page 250. AS you all know we are too darned challenged to actually run 2 threads at once! So get posting!

Well, I am jealous! I want to get time off, we don't start "summer" hours until Memorial Day week, though, and we have to work 45 minutes extra monday-thursday, then we get half day on Fridays.

Oh, but seeing you reminds me, I was talking to someone at the gym that I've gotten to be pretty good friends w/ lately (our boy cubs are about the same age...) and she went to a SUNY school!!! (I'd never even heard of it before our LizzY!) It was in the upstate area, I believe. And, HEY, she's an MD. Go LizzY, Go LizzY!!!! MAae yer Mama proud.
