I've been lurking here for a few months and just returned home from 2 wks at the parks. Great weather and parks were not too crowded.

We rented 2 scooters from Allstarscooters.us this trip, both brand new, and at lower rates than any of the other rental companies we called.
Are they new? I had'nt read about them in any of the other scooter/ecv rental posts here.

We are going back down in August and spending a few nights in Sarasota, anyone have any suggestions on hotels near the beach? or St. Armands?

I did a quick "whois" lookup and the registrant is John Walker and the address is the same as Walker Mobility. Maybe they are planning to expand.

Thanks for the info Cheshire, good to know as I've read some good things about Walker on the forum here.

I just checked their website and it does say "A Division of Walker Mobility" in the banner at the bottom. And thanks for the info! I could cover my entire 5 day getaway in May for the price of 2 days of a Disney rental, plus have the thing for other areas outside the parks when needed.

I just called Walker and asked what they are doing and why.

The response was the Ranger, which is what Walker has settled on, is a much better ECV. The Go-Go series, which is what the new company rents, is obviously a less expensive model with lower capacity and range, no headlight, smaller basket, etc.

And they decided that rather than having different lines of ECVs as Walker they would rather have a second name for the lower pricing.
