New: Sail Away Gift Option

It looks like DCL has launched an option to create a shareable link so that friends and families can add money to your stateroom account. I haven't seen it discussed before, and saw the image pop up on the right side of the screen on an upcoming booking

Agreed, but not necessarily everybody knew of this, and the shareable links arguably makes it easier than having to enter cruise and personal info for the cruiser and having to go through the onboard gifts prompts

DCL is now so expensive that they provide a link for family and friends donations so you can pay your on board account. Yes it was always a possibility but it was never easy to add to your account. I did try it many years ago and had to call several times before I got someone who was knowledgeable enough to add it to my account. Never did it after that experience. Maybe the on line ability makes it easier now.
