New rules, new plans... new questions.

We are going to be at Disney from 1/4-1/12; we leave for the airport tomorrow night!! I know about masks, distancing, limited menu choices, no parades or shows, closed restaurants and resorts. However, I have some specific questions that I'd like answered before making final-final plans! Can you help with these?

1. Can we still get free ice water at the quick service locations in the parks?
2. Can we resort-hop/visit? Basically I am hoping to park at a resort on the Skyliner, ride the Skyliner for a bit, then back to the resort for QS lunch or supper. (I'm thinking maybe POP/AoA to Epcot and back.)
3. We are at AKL/Jambo for the first three nights (Jan 4th-7th). Will the Mara still be open, or should I bring breakfast food? Schlepping to Sanaa for toast isn't my thing!
4. Are buses running from the parks to Disney Springs, or just from resorts?
5. Are boats running around Seven Seas Lagoon (or the ferry to MK)? Friendships? DS boats?
6. I am mostly trying to figure out how to spend our non-park days. We WILL have a car- does anyone have recommendations for local breweries or wineries (I can check to see if they are open). Anything else "interesting" in the area (that's not a theme park)? We normally never leave the Bubble, but with all the Covid restrictions we aren't planning a whole lot of park days this time around!

1. Yes, you can still get water.
2. Yes, but be prepared to be turned away at the gate if you don’t have a dining reservation at that resort. Better to park at a park (HS) and then take the Skyliner to those resorts. They are really frowning on people parking at resorts without dining reservations and have been turning people away.
3. Mara is most likely closing again. Plan for it to be closed.
4. Last I had heard they still weren’t running buses to DS from the parks, but that could have changed. If they did change it, they probably aren’t running the, until later in the afternoon/evening like they did pre pandemic.
5. Boats are running from the resorts to MK, but the boats from resort to resort (like WL to CR) are not running. Friendship boats are running. And NO boats are running between SSR, OKW, and DS. Not until they set up security checkpoints at the boat launches at DS, so these will probably be gone for a long time.

1. Yes but sometimes you may have to wait a little. Best to ask for ice water at quick services that don't offer Mobile Ordering, Starbucks and first aid
2. You can park at a resort if you have a dining reservation. Other than that you can visit by using Disney buses
