Seems a sensible precaution, and with new technology hopefully it won't add any significant delay to getting through customs & immigration services at US airports. I was a bit puzzled by the refer to low-risk countries, though. I assume the UK would be counted as a low-risk country, but didn't the "shoe bomber" (Richard something or other) come from the UK?

I think you're right Rob. I would classify the UK as high risk because of all the thousands of illegal immigrants we have living here, many of whom openly spout anti- British and American rhetoric.

I'm all for higher security measures and it makes sense to me.
