But, if you say "Following the New Rule," expect that some will get into such a huff about it. I quoted one poster and WoooWeee! was she all insulted by it.

But, really, if you are not someone who is going to change your original post, why would you care or get all offended if someone follows the New Rule and quotes you? So someone quoted you...

true, I guess that person may have been "caught" by the new rule in a different thread.

Or maybe they don't like the implication that their post is suspected of being changed if they don't get everyone to agree with their particular opinion on a subject? I think that happens a lot!

When I get a chance, I just put "new rule" on the first line, then add my comments, opinions, or crazy comments below that!

i quote people all the time especially if the post i want to address is several posts back of where my post will land. i may or may not do it if my post ends up right under the one in question.

Yeah, but those are ESPECIALLY the ones that need the new rule applied, because those are usually the first ones that "change"
