New Room Only Rate code Oct-Dec

Sounds like a great deal!

NOw can someone explain to me how this works vs my QXG full package rate code? This seems cheaper, but my QXG IS a good rate as well.

Not sure how it works for you, but I'd call CRO and ask them to compare the two.

The best Disney could offer me was $6,800 at CR (ROOM ONLY!!) for our stay Nov. 9-15. NO THANKS!!! I'll keep my rack rate at the Poly, which is half that price (and includes our park hopper tickets).

I started doing some checking on the website...They've slashed all the prices for midDecember. It's comparable or less than my AP rate for Deluxe resorts.

I'm thinking of putting my AP in the safe deposit box and not activating it til I'm retired and can go more often. It'll probably be worth more than if I'd put it in the stock market.

Wash it Bush's speech last night?? Are bookings that low?

I checked priced out the difference for us.
We are already booked with QXD package and are staying dec.22-30
our package is 3782.24 right now for 8 nights, dining plan and 7 day park passes 2 a, 1 14yo, 1 10yo.
I priced it out with the new room only code (which only goes for 2 nights of our trip then back to 205/215 per night) total for the same package additions would be 3849.72.....
slightly more with the new code.

I guess I'll keep mine and cross my fingers for free dining. as if!

Thanks for the info. I did check our dates and rates and I will be better off keeping the package I have at 1360.44. Room only for our dates 12/20-12/24 was 580.00. Then if you add in tickets at 300.00 and just our TS for the DDP at 700.00 then you have over 1580.00.

It never hurts to check though!!!!

I paid $1206 for my December vacation (for 2 people, 5 nights, including tickets w/park hoppers and DDP at the POP). I just checked to see if this new code would be cheaper, and it came to $1291.90

I guess I got a better deal by booking earlier.

Well I just changed my code again now to the NYB code. I saved a whopping grand total of $11.23 for 7 nights over the GTI code. woo-hoo that will almost pay for 1 mug!!!! or 2 snacks

The fall discount was better. I priced out this one and for a mod room and park hoppers this was about $300 more.

Our dec ressie was cheaper by a little over $200 with the old code. Our avg nightly charge with the MYW package discount is $212/nt, the new code would be $221/nt. Still hoping for GP free dining, but not likely at this point.

There is another code available also UWI which includes dining plan however it priced out 134.96 more than my current pin ressie

I used FXW code (room only) for Fri. Dec. 19 at POP, they only had preferred view rooms with discount but that still got me an excellent rate of $102.38 I'm so excited, thats a savings of about $55.00 for that night and instead of standard view we now have preferred

Well, no codes worked for us..... We're at the GF for 10/19-25 with a AAA discount. Seems like that's a crowded week for monorail resorts (I'm going solo with the 2boys, so i want monorail convenience). None of the fall codes released in Aug, VISA codes or these new room only codes are available at the GF or Poly or Contemp that week.

We're excited to go on our trip, but bummed that not a single code could apply to us!!!

I checked the website and the only thing I was quoted was a 2 BR suite at BC for $8600. I have a feeling that even I had my AAA agent call, we wouldn't be saving much, if anything. Our AAA rate is $119.20. I don't think, for the week we are going, we'll be able to save anything off that.

OK - just checked some additional nights and was getting $2250 a night for the Poly

I haven't checked the whole week but I know the Poly and the contemporary have some rooms available the 19th - 23rd. I just checked online and got a rate of $332 for Poly and $302 for contemp. Yesterday the rates were $399 and $340 (with no code).
