New Room only code saved $ over fall pkg

Anyone else save money switching from DGL to NYB? I thought I had read the DGL discount was larger. We had booked 6 nights at WL for 10/25 but really needed 7 nights and I could never add the 7th night using the DGL code. I called to see if I could get all 7 nights at WL using the new code and it was available. Interestingly enough, the CM then offered to add the extra night into my existing pkg using DGL even though it expired. This is exactly what I wanted to do before and I could not! Taking into consideration the cost of tix in the pkg, the new code was slightly less expensive for the room portion. Also the NYB code can be converted into a package if you need tix or dining. I really think Disney has made this far too complex trying to figure out which code is really less expensive.

I just called to check and was told my package would be $75 more so I stayed with the QXD.

The new code was $86 cheaper than the Fall Getaway Code for me. We are staying at the Yacht Club - standard room - two adults.

I chose to add a night to our vacation, so I added one night at the Yacht Club, one day to our park hoppers and added a day to our basic dining plan for $300. I think that's a good deal.

I have read on other boards if you have ressies for value or moderate,it won't save you any.But if you have deluxe ressies it could possibly save you some money, so try it.Good luck.

I also noticed that Fri & Sat were much more expensive. They were about $40/night higher than Sun-Thurs. It was not that way on the DGL pkg that I noticed.
