New room available this weekend!

I was in the queue for the host game last night, and Hula said there will be a new quest this weekend with a new room as prize. Even though I prefer the BB room, either would be nice

I checked the calendar for the weekend and there are no scheduled host quests so it must be a regular q button quest and not a host quest (thankfully - the late ones start at 1.30am my time!)

I hope the quest starts Friday when VMK opens. That will be the about the only time I can access VMK all weekend.

personally I hate this idea......I like to try to have multiples of the different rooms and earning a room via quests does not give you this option.

I like to decorated my rooms and if I make a ride room I would need one for that also.

hope this was just misconstruded the wrong way and there is a new quest this week end and the a new room available for purchase.

The new pirate quest at the parks is supposed to start on Friday 7/7 to coincide with the reopening of the ride. It's entirely possible that this is the quest they are talking about. No idea about the prizes for it yet.

Yes, not the greatest way of doing it I admit, but it is better than no room at all. Get a mule or two, get the rooms and interconnect them with teleports. Sure, they don't all belong to same character , but again better than nothing lol.

She definitely did say the room would be a prize in a new quest this weekend, and had plenty of time while I was in there to correct herself should she have made a mistake.

There's more than one new room, so I dare say one will be a quest special and others buyable then or soon after

I'm relieved to hear this. I am probably the only person who hasn't bought any of the new shop items because there isn't a room available that I want to put that theme in. I'm glad they are going to make some other options available.

Slide Rooms (Blizzard and Typhoon) go on sale.

There is a huge Quest, and the prize is the announced Black Pearl room (to coincide with the new movie, like they said they were going to)

Let me clear this up, like only a non-CL and non-Host (or someone not called pirate-emery ) can do

its official, the typhoon lagoon room is via a quest as stated on vmk page now.

Hi,
I do not think this is so great. Sure you won't have to pay for the room but will it be limited to 1 room per charcater? Many of us like to have multiples of rooms. Also I wonder how long this is going on. They do not state. What about people who are gone on vacation or simply not here. Will the quest be around later for them?
I have already called by phone a fellow diser who left last night for a 10 day road trip and will not be on line. I told her that I will do the quest on what ever peeps she wants. She would have been heartbroken if she missed this room. VMK says not to give out your login information but them they do stuff like this! Silly!! It is encourageing people to have to have someonelse do the quest for them if they are gone.
Just my 2 cents and I will be busy with all the rest of you getting my new room tomorrow-After I go to the Morning show of Pirates of the Carribean .
