New ridemax question here: we're currently stuck in traffic outside of Flagstaff, and are less than 48 hrs from our DLR visit!!! Since I'm sitting here with nothing to do, I logged on to tinker with some ridemax itineraries, and it hit me: our group is pretty diverse.

My 6 yr old is SO stoked to finally be tall enough for Splash Mountain and Star Tours, but my 4 and 3 yr olds aren't big enough yet, so how do I plug ineverything to accommodate our whole crew? To make sure we don't miss rides for littlest and our finally tall enough guy?

Also, 1 of my kids loved the Haunted Mansion, the other two are terrified. We had talked about having me and hubby take DS on it while my mom and brother take the littlest to something tamer close by, and then we'd switch. How can we do that using Ridemax? Honestly, there are several rides we wanted to do that way...

Unfortunately, Ridemax or any other plan software will not allow you to mix and match certain attractions for certain people. I suggest you generate a plan that includes all attractions. Then when it comes time to do them, you can decide who will be riding and who will not. As you described, if there are close-by attractions with short waits that the little ones can take advantage of while the others wait in line, then you can certainly utilize that option. One other thing to consider is rider-swap. If you have little ones that can't ride, you all go in a group to the attraction. When you get to the boarding area, 1 or more people ride while the others wait with the little ones. When the first group returns, the second group immediately rides while the first group can exit the ride with the little ones. Just tell the CM you are doing rider-swap. This will put you slightly behind in your plan by the time it takes for a ride sequence, but if you only do it a couple of times and are selective as to which rides you do it on, it shouldn't impact the plan that much.
