A few months ago I asked for DVC suggestions of your favorite restaurants outside of WDW. Seems as DVC members we sometimes get alittle burned out with the same Disney restaurants (and Disney prices!).

Thanks to your feedback we tried some great places last month that we hadn't known about. We really enjoyed Joe's Crab shack which was a fun place with decent food, Macaroni Grill for good pasta and Steak and Shake for great burgers and shakes.

None of these are in the Seattle area so we hadn't heard of any of them. Thanks again for your suggestions!

Macaroni Grill is WONDERFUL!

I think we are going to venture off-site on our next trip and try the Melting Pot.

Another really good place is Giordano's Pizza. They make the best Chicago style stuffed pizza. They have two locations. One on 192 and one on 535, in the same area as the Winn Dixie, I think maybe the block before. They delivered to us at OKW in March and we went and ate there twice in December. This place is on our definite must of places to eat while at WDW from now on. My hubby and son could only eat 2 pieces each of this rich pizza.

I highly recommend the Melting Pot. It is a lot of fun! Make sure you have enough time to enjoy it - a meal for two takes about to two hours, so don't go there in a hurry.

Is there a California Pizza Kitchen in the area? I went to one in Ohio but we don't have one in Delaware. I liked them too.

We used to have a Melting Pot in town. I knew they were a chain. I miss ours in town. We love fondue. Where is the one in WDW area?

Thanks for the link to Giordano's. We were going to try that one but wasn't sure where they were. Time to start planning for the next trip!

Call us crazy, but we LOVE the Chevy's (I think that it is in the Crossroad's area) I know how to get there, but just where it's at.

We have several Chevy's here in the Mpls/St. Paul area, but for some reason they just don't compare. We stop in there once per trip. We found it on first visit to the world back in 1999, and have been back like 6 times since. IMHO, their mexican totally beats the Mexico pavilion.

Macaroni Grill is great, there is also a Lone Star Cafe -great Tex Mex food and the best fajitas I have ever tasted over by the marriott village just south of I4 on 535 (i think thats the road). Haven't been to the Lone Star Cafe but if it's anything like the one's i've been to in Canada it would be great.

Especially if the weather is nice -- try out Bahama Breeze on Int. Drive (right near a Homewood Suites, I think... it's right across from Olive Garden, on the right if you're coming from WDW, just past FAO Schwarz). Very good food, and if it's nighttime and the weather is good, it's nice to get appetizers and sit with a drink on the outside deck area.
