New Restaurant??

I'm not as savvy with the boards as others, however we're planning for a trip in 2008 and I was reading a thread that had comments about a new restaurant called Yaki & Yerke or something like that. I am probably way off on what it's called, but I thought it was something like this. People were discussing when it would open, etc and if they could get ADRs for it.

First off, do I have the name right? Secondly, does anyone know where this restaurant is going to be located in Disney World? What type of restaurant is it going to be and when might it be opening?

The Yak and Yeti will be opening in Animal Kingdom (Asia) in November.

Disney dining is not yet taking reservations for Yak and Yeti, but I just called and they said it will be both Table service and counter service, are there any other Disney places that do that? off hand I can't think of one.
She also said sometimes they are only told the day before opening that they can start making ADRs. and they have no date in the system for opening at the moment.

You can get Fish and Chips and Bass Ale outside of the Rose and Crown Pub. There is a small seating area to the south.

but I had to giggle about Yaki and YERKE ... I know you said you were unsure of the name but that just sounds so funny " Yumpin' Yimminee ... it's YERKE" ... so just had to tease you! Everyone is awaiting the menu for this new restaurant. AK can sure use another place to eat!

PS: San Angel Inn (EPCOT) has table and counter ... the counter service is called Cantina de San Angel.
