New Restaurant on Boardwalk

There is a new restaurant coming to the boardwalk at Walt Disney World. It's called Trattoria al Forno and it is planned to open December 18th. What does everyone think about it after reading about it? Do you like the location on the boardwalk? Do you like the choice of a new Italian option?

P.S. - I didn't see another thread about this restaurant. I apologize now if there was already one made.

It's been discussed before - personally I don't see any reason for a new italian restaurant with il mulino, via Napoli and tutto Italia so close. Really wish they would've put something unique in that spot. We'll be skipping it for the foreseeable future.

Agree with the PP, no need for yet another Italian restaurant. However, the location will pretty much guarantee that it will be well attended.

I also agree with the pp. I see no need for another Italian restaurant with Il Mulino, Via Napoli, Tutto Italia and Mama Melrose only minutes away. The only reason I guess would be to have an Italian restaurant on the DDP that is not located in a park.

Italian is pretty boring. Would go if the food gets really good reviews, but probably wouldn't make a special trip for Italian.

Even though I wished they would have put something more inspiring there, the menu does look interesting. I've made an ADR for breakfast in Feb.
