New Reservations earliest date allowed?

We had a trip scheduled for May that got cancelled and today I tried to reschedule for October. When I went into my account to try to reserve a new room the calendar popped up at December. I was able to put it back to October but when I put in my search it came back that there was nothing available and big red language about the covid-19 closure. Now I guess its possible that the resorts are all just completely booked for the dates I put in in October, but I was wondering if the issue is that they are not accepting bookings until December. Does anyone know?

No need to worry. The calendar is programmed to always pop up 7 months from now, and 7 months from now is December. Depending on your search, it is very likely that your search for October only has waitlist available.

My understanding is that they will accept reservations starting June 1st. We do have a trip booked in Oct and have had waitlists in place for a studio at BWV. It has been booked up for some time. My guess would be more of a lack of availability vs not accepting reservations.

I searched for October yesterday to see if one night I want to change was available,

There were rooms at certain resorts, So, I think it’s likely that The dates you were looking for are booked.

It also depends on what room size you were looking for. If looking for a Studio, most of those will be booked.

Thanks all. After much playing around I realized that the problem was simply that they were full. We are looking for just a studio because I have banked 2019 points that have to be used and that's all they will cover. Probably lots of others in the same situation so that's why its hard to get. I ended up scheduling for January which was the earliest I could get an entire week. Its not ideal, I'm not crazy about traveling in winter weather but its better than losing the points. I was also hoping to try a different resort from my home resort but of course going to January stops that. But, I'm afraid if I wait that I lose that too so I made the reservation. Now fingers crossed that everything is completely open by then
