New Release Dates on Pins

hello! I just wanted to find out where I can get information regarding new release dates and venues on pins. We were Disneyland today and stumbled upon a "new release" event. In the future, how would I know? Is there a site?

Thank you sooo much for that link! I was able to shed some light into my mind about this pin craze! How can anyone keep up with all these pins? Do people actually collect to keep or to sell? Why would anyone want to trade because if I went to the store and picked out the one I like and paid for it, why would I want to trade it? Also I read in other threads that some pins are $2.00.....the only ones I see are at least $6.50 in the stores.

The pins are cute and I bought a couple today. But the whole 80's Beanie Baby craze really scared me off! remember that??

If you go to www.pinpics.com you will find a database of over 36,000 pins, primarily Disney. That site is designed to assist with pin trading away from the parks.

One of the major uses is when you are trying to develop a collection to find out both what meets your collection criteria and the ability to trade for pins you want.

However, more and more people are realizing that Disney is starting to do with pins what it did with beanies. Does overkill mean anything to you?
