◦Gotta love the witty foreshadowing here.
◦I just have to mention how wonderfully it was translated to Polish. Since we don't have all this fun with the word "Uranus" here, Mr Polkowski had had to be quite inventive here, but he did the work wonderfully. It went something like this (translated back to English from his translation to Polish):
Lavender: Oh Professor, look! I think I've got an unaspected planet! Oooh, which one's that, Professor?
Prof. Trelawney: It is Uranus, my dear. A very important celestial body.
Ron: Can I too have a look at Lavender's body?
Well, it is actually pronounced "UR-in-iss", not that stops children going the vulgar route.
Not in Britain it isn't. It's pronounced in exactly the way the joke requires it to be...
"Unaspected"?
◦And in OOTP, Ron uses basically the same joke again (Though he isn't really in his right mind at the time):
“Harry, we saw Uranus up close!” said Ron, still giggling feebly. “Get it, Harry? We saw Uranus — ha ha ha —”
