There were a couple of entertaining bits, but it was mainly meh...

I've seen people complain that Ellen chose children under 10 years old to be allowed into the WWOHP during the show last week because they wouldn't have grown up with the series. Well, seeing as they were born after the first book came out, I would say that they were. At least moreso than someone born before the book came out.

My friend was annoying me before..
She was all "isn't it weird how the first Harry Potter came out when we started high school too?" and I was like "uhm, no it didn't.." and she was all "yes it did" and wouldn't believe me :|
So I just checked IMDB for the actual date and guess what? It was 2001. 4 years before we started high school.

The book came out in 1997. My book was published in 1997, but it also mentions the Chamber of Secrets being out, which came out in 1998... Actually... *checks*

Yup. First published in Great Britain in 1997. Also available is Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets. Odd.
