I think it was based on Chicken Little.
Because the main character (Henny Penny) thinks the sky is falling and has to run and tell the mayor but meets up with her friends along the way. Then Roxy Loxy tries to eat them all but Henny Penny escapes..it never said if her friends escaped though. =\
