can I add my park tickets later? Trying to get around the $3,000 a day limit on my debit bankcard. LOL!!! OR could I do the room-only and add dining and park tickets later, like tomorrow?? OR..could I use my debit card for half and hubby's debit card for the other half?

I would suggest splitting it between yours and your DH's cards. That way it's all set before you arrive. I know you can add the park tickets later but I think there is a minimum amount of time before arriving at your resort before you can add the dining option. As I said, if you want to be 'safe,' do the split charge. Alternatively, you can apply one payment today and the other tomorrow.

You must purchase a package to be able to add the Dining Plan.

To be considered a package, you must purchase at least a 1 day ticket for everyone in the room.

You can upgrade the days on the tickets at a later time.

Also, there is a time frame for adding the DP... by a certain number of days before your arrival, sorry, can't remember the exact number of days. (I mention this because it looks like you will visiting soon.)

Booking a package for an arrival date within 45 days, must be paid in full.

If you book room only, then add tix and DP, I think it then becomes a package, and they usually won't just transfer your room-only deposit. They may have to cancel, then refund and start new.

I would try splitting the total onto 2 cards.

PP is correct; you can't add dining to a room only reservation. Even AP holders, who can book the dining plan without having to buy tickets, must still purchase a package in order to get the DDP.

Your best bet would be to purchase package with a one day ticket and the dining plan, then upgrade the one day tickets to whatever ticket type you need when you arrive in WDW. Or put half on your card and half on your husbands.

Why dont you just make payments on it? You dont have to pay it all at once.

What I do is: on average your able to set up package about 8 months prior to you going. You have so long to send $200 room hold and then you have 45 days prior to your arrival to have dining plan paid off. So I make payment on WDW package monthly so it is not a huge expense.

When I booked, I booked the room and basic park tickets only. Although I will be adding dining and ph tickets, this way saved me 1k when I initially booked. I will add the ph tickets and dining a week or so before I arrive.
