New Puppy, Disney name!

Not sure if this is the right spot to start this thread?

So we are buying a new puppy and we are looking for some ideas picking out a name. We are not going to pick her up until the 1st weekend in May but we would like to name her soon so the people we are buying her from can start calling her by her name! She is a Ivory Labrador retriever, and we are kind of looking for a Disney name that will work for a Female. It does not have or need to be a character name. We are really don't want to name her a main or popular character name ie Minnie, Bell, Ect.

Right now what we have come up with is Casey (for Casey's Corner) I know Casey from Casey at the Bat is a Guy. But we like the name for a girl dog so far. Any thoughts would be great!! Thanks in advance

FWIW, we have 2 mini doxies named Minnie & Mia. Was supposed to be Minnie & Daisy but kids said "Daisy is always mean to Minnie" so Daisy got nixed

Had a Lab for 15 years... they are amazing dogs! Congrats on your new addition!

We weren't planning on it as we just had to put our 9 yr hold Choc Lab Hunter RIP down in Jan with Kidney Failure. But our other lab and our 2 yr old have both hinting they needed another friend. We are very excited!

If you like Casey, name the dog Casey. It can work for either male or female. I've heard that dogs respond well to two-syllable names that end with the "y" or long "e" sound.

And to add to the Casey/Disney connection, there is a lovely children's ride called Casey Jr. Circus Train in Disneyland California. Casey Jr. was the name of the train in Dumbo. Enjoy the new family member!

We have a dog that is a terrier mix and he looks just like Chip, so it was obviously what we had to name him.

I think Casey would be perfect.

I vote Lilly (Walt's wife) because of it beeing a white dog.

That is actually the name of my cat. Really good pet name. I also have a cat name Riley (The Replacements, Disney cartoon). I like names that end in the EE sound. Casey is cute too.
