New Promotion - I'm so excited!

We plan to nook through Costco just to get the little perks, $20 GC and free character b-fast.

We already have 5 nights booked at HoJo late May. There are no more rooms available. Would they let me use my current reservation to stay at HoJo using the new promotion?

Yes this is what I am asking too. If you book and then something like this comes about, do they validate the new offer?? I hope someone chimes in and knows the answer.

My DU TA just got us rebooked. We upgraded our view and came away with a savings of $1287. Wow!!! Marla is the best!

We just booked 5 days during the D23 Expo weekend.

For two people we got the 5 days for the price of 3 (Motel 6), 5 day parkhopper for the price of 3, one morning madness, one toontown morning, luggage tags, pin and lanyard for us both, DTD fun card, preferred seating at DCA restaurant and shuttle to and from airport. All for $650 for two people. Oh and a whopping $5 gift card. :rolleyes1

I just rebooked my stay for Sept 7 - 13 during the Haunted Mansion 40th and Expo 23 for the Grand Californian and saved $600.

The first time I called I got a CM who thought she knew everything and told me I couldn't book the package without tickets since we already have APs she said I had to buy the 2 day hopper tickets at least. She also told me that the only rooms available were 2 queens when we need a king bed. I thanked her for the info and hung up.

Called back 5 minutes later got a very nice gentleman said no problem to book without tickets and yes there was a king room available. Funny how talking to 2 different CM's within a few minutes gets you different results. :confused3

We also are going to try costco, but when you check the website(we are going in August, one place says the GC and breakfast end in April and another says it is part of the package. Hotel room and tickets 7 dollars cheaper thru them, plus the other goodies. Guess I will have to call.

If you go do a mock up of your vacation through Costco, it will price everything out and tell you exactly what you get. The GC and b-fast are there! We have booked through Costco several times before. It's the same package as you would book through DL's own website, you just get the extra $20 GC.

Just got off the phone with Costco and it is an automatic perk for the card and the breakfast...Looks as if Costco is the way to go.
Thanks for the input.

Is everyone on this thread booking to stay at DLR hotels or are some of you booking at Good Neighbor hotels? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to book through Disney for a good neighbor hotel. Also will they let me book a good neighbor hotel doing this package when I have an AP or do they only allow that if you stay at the DLR, GCH or PP. Do any of you know? Thanks for any help/advice! We normally stay at Hojo, but the Ent rates are sold out when we would go...:( That's what I get for waiting too long in this dang economy. uugghh!

Man I wish I could get all the cool package perks without having to book a room, Lol.

When I called Disney today the man told me that as of right now they are only offering the 2 nights free at a Disney hotel. He did say that there are plans to add good neighbor hotels in 2-3 weeks.

The person I spoke w/ from Disney on phone today said you can get the deal w/ just the tickets. A 3 day ticket would get you two free additional days!

Here's the blurb from disneyland.com website - so it's good for good neighbor hotels too. If one CM says they can't do it just call again as you see from my post above you will probably get a different answer.

I just called for our Aug trip. Even with the promo and no passes we are looking at 253/night for the DLH. Gosh that still seems SO expensive when I can get the kids suite at HOJO for 131/night.

Trying calling again. From other posts you have to give your AP # and they will work out a deal for you. $253 doesn't seem right.

That seems high...we are paying around $178.00/night with tax and fees (per room) for the DLH Aug/Sept...five nights package.

I just called again. In order to get the 2 nights free I have to get the "package" which includes a pin and stuff. I got the same price. That is SO expensive, even more with the AP rate.

Keep calling it seems like some CM's know how to work the deal and others don't - you don't have to buy the tickets and they can take that charge off if you have an AP - I am getting $234 a night at GCH and I know DLH is always cheaper

I tried to book a 5 night trip through Costco and I was told they cannot accomodate 5 night trips their contract with Disney will only allow them to book up to 4 nights, this was in January. They may have changed policy since then.
