New Promotion for buying into SSR??

I was on the Disney website and saw a promotion. It indicates that you receive a free disney vacation when you purchase a real estate interest in Saratoga Springs resort. Does anyone know the specifics of this promotion?

The promotion is that you can either :

take $10 off each point and start using your points after (I think) March of next year.

or

get free points (same amount as you bought) to use before next September at any of the
resorts that are in the DVC.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

We are considering this right now, but I really am not convinced that I'd like SSR as my home resort.
I'd like to be in walking, closer distance to at least one of the parks, so YBC, WL, or BW might be better.

We might be going to WDW in April next year and we will take the tour then, as we've never done that, and have just talked with our rep
over the phone. By then, however, this promo will be over, but I'm sure something else will pop up!

It's a tough decision, but with 3 kids, it sounds awful nice!

I wonder if that is for add ons, too? The minimum to purchase is 25, right?

25 points is the minimum add-on if paying by cash or credit card

50 points if being financed through Disney

In the past, a minimum of 100 point add-on was required to get the incentives being offered to new 150 point or higher contracts.

Has anyone added less > 100 points at SSR since it went to $95?

Do you think it means if you take the option of "free" points that say for example, you bought 150 points that you would receive 300 points to use before next September?(I mean the 150 you bought plus 150 bonus points to be used once?).

I think that how they are handling the "buy before its built" thing. That was the deal for all of us who bought last year.

I talked to DVC about this two nights ago because I'm in the process of signing up.

Free Vacation (up front points) - Receive points equal to your allotment immediately. They must be used by the end of Sep 05 and can't be banked.
-or-
$10 per point discount - Get $10 per point credit towards your purchase. No forfeit of first year's points (which was the deal with SSR phase 1) but you can't get any points till the end of March when Phase 2 opens.

That's the way it was explained to me over the phone on Monday night.
