I am thinking about booking this new character dining for the summer. How different is this dining experience from Cinderella's? What characters are there? Also will my son (age 7) feel out of place?

Haven't been yet but will be in about 2 weeks. It sounds like really good food to me. I think it would be better to call it a Heroine's Breakfast than Princesses just because some girls can get too detailed about Pocahontas and Mulan not really being princesses, but that's a whole 'nother thing!

I hear that Jasmine, Belle and Aurora are regulars but that Esmerelda, Mulan, Pocahontas and Snow White also show up. Actually I think Snow White may be mroe of a regular.

You know your son better than most. I can tell you that I am taking my DS to Cindy's for his birthday breakfast and he's excited! We are also taking him to Princess Storybook. Of course, I'd be much happier and so would he if he could have Buzz Lightyear or another male hero, but we make do.

I am still hoping that DIsney desists with shoving Pooh and Friends down your throat and brings some other characters into meals that are appealing to boys, older children and even adults. But that's another thread topic too,

Both breakfast events are very much the same. My daughter and I experienced the Epcot one for the first time two weeks ago. We had a lovely time and will do it again since it was easier to get reservations for than Cindy's (I didn't even attempt to get Cindy's reservations for this trip due to bad experiences with getting them in the past).

The character experience was great, but we were disappointed with the food.

You are brought a skillet of scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, bacon, sausage and hash browns as well as a plate of pastries. We like CRT choices much more than this new restaurant, because the kids can have pancakes and the adults can have a lighter choice for breakfast.

My 5-yr-old son had a great time with the princesses.
