Has anyone gone to the new Princess Breakfast in Epcot/Norway? Which princess did you see? Is it hard to get the reservations like at Cindys? Thanks

We went to this breakfast in September. We really enjoyed it. The atmosphere very nice and the food was good. We saw Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora, Mary Poppins and Belle. You can call 120 days in advance for a priority seating for this meal and it's not as hard as Cinderella's Royal Table to obtain.

We went to this breakfast on 12/26/02.
We did not have a PS and even though it was a busy week for WDW we were able to get seating within 10 minutes for my family of 5 (table for 4, one in highchair).
So I don't think it's nearly as hard to get in as CRT.

We felt it was great (and didn't know about CRT at the time so we didn't know what we were missing there.. I guess. Still haven't been there so I still don't know what we missed! LOL)

The food was DELICIOUS. Usually I would have major pangs in my pocketbook (LOL) if paying that much for a breakfast (not a big meal for any of us in my family) but the food was so good we asked for more, it came quickly and we devoured most of it again. Mmmm, good. :)

My girls loved all the characters and my son even got excited to see Mary Poppins because she was the only one that REALLY got into her character and both my oldest children were like "MOM! That's the REAL Mary Poppins!" :)

Mary Poppins even got my 2yr old to eat when she had been refusing up to that point. Guess she has that special touch I don't have or something......

We saw Mary Poppins, Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Jasmine and Mulan!!!!

We have done both Cindy's and PSB. We were very unimpressed with Cindy's and won't be returning anytime soon. However, Princess Storybook was wonderful! The food was very good for mass served food. The only complaint we had with the food items was that the french toast sticks were pretty icky. Otherwise, everything else was quite tasty. The atmosphere is perfect for princesses, too. The Epcot staff kept the characters moving well and made sure they visited all the tables. We had Cinderella, Belle, Mary Poppins, Jasmine, and the greatest Snow White. We REALLY like this breakfast and plan to make it a traditional meal.

Hi there...

We went in August and really enjoyed it. There was Belle, Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White & Jasmine. Breakfast was good and the walk to Norway is very pretty.

Try to get an early time before the park opens... it is nice to walk through and take photos when there are no other guests.

There are some photos from this breakfast on my website link below if you would like to see.

>>^..^<,

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Very excited to hear about this since I just booked mine for our June trip.

I'm so happy to hear all the positive reviews for this breakfast. Whenever I went to Epcot in the past I worried about where to have breakfast and usually just ate at my resort. I'll definitely consider this on my trip in Aug. Has anyone eaten here without children? Will the princesses still come around to your table? At some other character meals I had to get the camera out long before the characters came around and showed it to them so they wouldn't skip over our childless table.

Hmm, I don't know. I haven't went to THAT character meal childless but I've went to several others and ALL of them did not ignore me simply because I didn't have children so I would hope it would be the same there.
In fact, at some of them they "motioned" (or the talking CM would ask) about pictures even when I had run out of film and didn't bring my camera with me! They usually wanted to sign the autograph book also even if I wasn't wanting them to because I'd already had several of their "characters" sign the kid's autograph book. They seemed to make a point to include me just as if I had children, which is as it should be since you are paying for it! Even more than children's cost! LOL

A couple of years ago I went with BIL, SIL, DW and no kids we did 4 character meals and SIL and DW had autograph books. not once did a character not stop at our table. Was told by the CM that they have a path that they follow and are told to stop at all tables no matter who is sitting there. We try and make late PS for the meals because we don't like to be hurried and most of the time we would have the characters come by more then once.

Are you sure Cinderella was there? She's not supposed to appear at this meal.

My fiancee and I went to this meal sans children in September and it was fantastic. The food was pretty good for mass produced breakfast food, but the characters were fantastic. Belle made a huge fuss over Fi when he informed her that she was his favorite princess. We got tons of pictures and I've never seen a 24 y.o. man look so much like a 6 y.o. with puppy love in my life. ;)

Pete W,

That was my understanding, too. All the literature on this meal that I've seen says that Cindy will definitely not be there. I am curious though, if she showed up once.

That's great. I love interacting with the characters. And yes I will wait in line to see them. Two years ago I waited a half hour to see Pooh and same time to see Buzz and Woody. Character meals are definitely easier when the characters are willing to interact.

Cinderella was absoultely at PSB. We were quite surprised because we weren't expecting her. I had read a few posts prior to our trip that a few people had also had Cinderella at PSB. However, I wouldn't expect seeing her. We were just lucky, I guess. Also, the morning we ate was Christmas Eve so maybe she was there because of the special day. I don't know for sure, but she was definitely there!!

Does anyone know what time the storybook breakfast starts? We have a PS for 8:30am and was wondering if this was the opening time.

We will be coming from CBR. Would it be easier to take our own car to go that early? Thanks:cool:

We were there the last week of Jan and Cinderella was there. The staff said that she has only been there a few times since it opened. We also had Mulan, Mary poppins, Belle and Jasmine. It is a great breakfast and we did not feel rushed like we did at CRT. We would do this breakfast again :Pinkbounc

Hopefully you will have a good experience like all of the posters had. Unfortunately our experience was the latter. It was terrible. The food was undercooked, the bacon was practically raw. The server was useless. I asked him for warm milk (dd likes oatmeal and I brought it for her, should have brought the milk too). He flat out told me he wouldn't be able to get any for me.

The eggs were terrible & the french toast sticks were hard. I have a feeling our tray must have been sitting somewhere in the kitchen. I should have asked for another, but our waiter was so helpful already (NOT) that I didn't bother. The princesses didn't make their way to our table til a good 30-35 minutes after we were there, one after another, in a "rushed" fashion. DD was getting very impatient especially since she couldn't even eat because he couldn't get her lousy milk.

To say the least I was VERY disappointed. Especially after reading the rave reviews.

I did email Disney and they did makegood so I do owe it to them to try it again. I'm glad it was just an isolated incident because there is a good chance it may be good for us next time. Good luck.
