New prescription

I did a quick search and counldnt find anything. I got a new prescription today and before I go and get it filled I wanted to know if anyone knew of a giftcard coupon out there so that I can get a free gift card with it. Thank you!

Target had one in their ad a few weeks ago. Try searching for prescription transfer coupon. Note the spelling of prescription.

I've looked for new RX coupons several times and never found any. Unfortunately, it seems like all the coupons are for a transferred RX. Sometimes, one of the pharmacies will honor a transfer coupon as a "competitor's coupon," but that seems to be more rare too. For example, if you take a Walgreen's transfer coupon to CVS, they might match it. But the last couple of times I've tried, they've said no.

I don't remember if it was for new or transferred or both but Kmart has one. They had it in their ad and on it said to go to the Kmart website for additional RX coupons to print. I think it's a limit of 5 per person. I used it today because I recently moved and they don't have a CVS here so I had to transfer it.

Can't help with the coupon issue, but thought I would mention my recent experience.

I'd been getting our prescriptions at Osco for years. I happened in be in Walmart for an errand last week and figured I'd get my inhaler filled there for convenience sake. The CO-PAY was $20 cheaper!!

We transferred our other meds over to WAlmart and are paying 1/3 the price of Oscos copay price. So now on our daily meds, we just pay the Walmart cash price rather than insurance copay and are saving alot of money. Seems like a big racket too me!
