I am new to posting and I wanted to say hello to everyone!
I have to say that I am SO excited that there are people out there that are Disney fanatics like myself. I thought my sister and I were the only ones. haha. Anyway, just wanted to say hi.
Also, I was curious what everyone's favorite place to eat in Disney is. We have several favorites, but we're looking to try something new when we go in May. I thought you guys would be the best people to ask.
Thanks!

:welcome: I have found this board very helpful in planning our first trip. We leave in 8 more sleeps. :woohoo: There is a wealth of information to be had! Good luck planning your vacation!

Hello and welcome to the board. Once you have been to Disney you'll just keep going back and planning your next trip will be all that you can think about.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You will be so glad you found the board. It has been invaluable to me when planning.
Now for the restuarants It all depends on what your looking for. My husband and I were there in Sept 2006 for our 25th. We ate at several places we never tried before.
Here is what I found

The best
family rest-Ohona
entertainment- Rest Marakesh(didn't care for food, but just not our taste)
most unique food-Boma (food was very good, but different)
most romantic-Victoria & Alberts (magical, spectacular)
best view of MK and fireworks-Cali Grill (food was fabulous, service superb)
best buffet-Crystal Palace
best American food-Liberty Tree Tavern

We have also eaten at 1990 Park Fare that was quite magical for our children.

I hope this gives you an idea. All the rests seem to have great reviews. I dont think you can go wrong with any of them.
Our next trip we would like to try Rose and Crown or Le Cellier, Chef Mickey, and Citrico. Also would like to give 50's Primetime and Si-Fi a try.

I hope this helps. Have fun planning.:flower3:

Hi Welcome to the family! :grouphug: We Love Crystal Palace. We plan on trying a lot of new places when we go in April. :goodvibes jen

Welcome! I am new to posting also, but have been reading for quite some time. My favorite all-around restaurant is probably the Rose and Crown. The food is good and I have some great memories. But there are probably better places to eat!

I love these boards too! :goodvibes

Our two favorite restaurants are the Flying Fish and Jiko.

Glad to have you!

One of the best lunches we've had was at Olivia's @ OKW :thumbsup2 . Fun and funky, cool drinks and good sandwiches, great view and awesome CM's (ask for Dominic the waiter).

Welcome! Isn't it good to know there are other Disney addicts?
We also like Crystal Palace, Rose & Crown, Chef Mickey's & Coral Reef.
Pecos Bill is a good counter service. Also, Main St bakery in MK & the
boulangerie patisserie in EPCOT are great for pastry. Have fun.:wizard:

Thanks for everyone's kind replies! I'm excited to be a part of this community!
