"Currently, the Polynesian's Tonga building is down for rehab and when it opens back up in early May, Polynesian resort fans will receive 2 wishes granted.

First of all, there have never been king size beds at the Polynesian, unless you want to shell out a couple of grand on the King Kamehameha or Princess Suites. Honeymoon rooms are being added and sure enough there all gonna have king size beds.

Secondly, guests have always complained about the lack of hot tubs at the Poly and all of the new Honeymoon rooms are having Jacuzzi Tubs installed in them.

This is a great new addition to the Polynesian line up and I think should get any future honeymooners vote for the #1 resort to stay at on Disney property."

Thanks for posting this information. This is so great! I finally get to join the party at the POLY!! DH and DB(we always travel together)will never agree to stay anywhere without a hot tub. I am immediately going to start championing the Poly for our 2006 visit.

BTW-DB in my case stands for brother. I would never travel with my husband and my boyfriend on the same vacation . That would just be in bad taste.

I was told the single room that is in Tonga would be turned into a honeymoon suite and it will still be over $500 a night. Are you sure there is going to be more than one? They would have to take down the other suites and break them up and structurally that would involve redoing the whole building and you would loose the other suites. Right now the one I was told would become a honeymoon suite is the separate room that is used as an addon to the King Kamehameha room is someone needs more room. If there is going to be more than one what suite are they going to break up. I can’t imagine they would do that but who knows.
