A pool for me is almost the most important part of my trip to any hotel and I could not wait to go to SAB when we stayed at the Yacht Club. It was nice but nowhere near as enjoyable as the Polynesian pool area is for me. Now this is just my opinion but here are my reasons I did not like SAB.
We went back to the pool in the hottest part of the day and the water was so warm it did not cool me off. The slide was fun but not as fun as what I was used to with the Polynesian slide. The area had a lot to offer but if I had my kids there it would be tough if not impossible to keep track of them at that pool unless I moved around to all the areas with them.
Now SAB does have a lot of things to offer but none gave me the feeling I get from hanging out at the Polynesian pool with a better slide, an unbeatable view of the lagoon, castle, fireworks and Electric Water Pageant, better bar and selection of drinks and food and a beach right there to enjoy.
I personally will pick the Polynesian pool over any other. It might just be one of those things you have to try yourself and decide which you like better. I will take the atmosphere of the Polynesian pool over the SAB size anytime. I would guess that kids would like SAB better but I have had a few tell me they prefer the Polynesian pool.
I'm not going to tell you it’s the best hands down because it is based on opinion and you will have to decide for yourself.
