New Point Structure??

I read in another thread about a "new point structure" that's coming out, and how it will have a negative effect on the value of DVC. I'm new to some of these terms, and trying to make a decision. Could someone please elaborate?? Thanks!

It's not the point structure of DVC resorts, it's regarding the point structure for Disney Collection....Disney resorts that are not part of DVC such as Polynesian, etc.
