New "Planning DVD" Challenge!!

This DVD kinda made me sick to my stomach. The hosts are pretty awful--WAAAAYYYY too over the top.

I couldn't disagree more. I though Disney was really trying a different angle and was trying to really avoid having the same ol' planning video. The last two have been pretty much the same and this time they really wanted to capture your attention with interaction.

I do think the video could have been a bit better and have a little more detail, but I think they did a good by using hosts.

OMG! Erin and Luke got on my nerves so much! Yea, I liked the relaxing guy. He was good.

It is really a shame that for some reason no one can remember the name of the lady that did the "kids" segments. Myself included. I thought she was the most credible of the four. She seemed sincere and not over the top at all. She really seemed to like kids and it showed.

Dave was also amusing and Erin was OK. Luke didn't represent any generation, now or ever. Just a characature of all the teenage stereotypes that one can imagine, with the exception of cool.

Generally, I thought it was new, current and covered just about all the bases. I also felt that overall the special segments were better than the initial show.

I think the "kids" host was Linda??
She was good, but Luke annoyed the CRAP out of me! The boy needs a freakin' comb!
And if I hear "hurl factor" and "dude" one more time this weekend I'm going to scream!!!

LOL! Now I know where DS 6 got "now that's what I am talking about." from. He has been doing it for the past couple weeks...just when we got the new DVD & the kids watched it all with DH. LOL!
