New pizza place reservations

When does the new pizza place in the Italian pavilion open up? I'm wondering if it will be open in Sept. when we'll be there. Does anyone know if it will be covered by the dining plan? I would love some good pizza in WDW!!

No official date, but likely in early fall (mid-sept on). Most likely reservations to open in Mid-July or August

I've read that both the new places (Mexico and Italy) will open for the start of F&W which is Oct. 1. I've not heard if there will be soft opennings -- I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well, not to start rumor, but StitchKingdom has Cantina reopening on 9/23 . (And has had that date for awhile). Is that reliable? It's unknown, but they're usually pretty good about those things.

That same date can be found here on the DIS http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/rehab.htm
and many other sites. It is the official rehab so that tends to let us believe that is the expected opening date. Sure hope so !!
