New Pizza Place in Epcot?

Am I crazy or did I not read about a new wood-fired grilled pizza place being built in Epcot? I can't seem to find any info about it.

Yes. Opening in the fall at World Showcase in Italy.

It is Via Napoli. There is a counterpart at Disneyland's DTD.

Yeah, I know it won't but it can't hurt to hope for it. I guess I have yet another reason to plan another trip.

This is the only article I have seen regarding the rumored high prices. $16 for a personal pizza and $44 for a family size pizza??? It better be good. Didn't pay that for the very best authentic pizzas we have had in downtown Chicago or Brooklyn. I hear the water is imported form Italy to make the dough.

WHOA! And to think, I was pretty excited that Disney finally realized how badly they needed a good pizza place. For 44 bucks, I could rent a cab and go offsite to eat! (Of course, the dough wouldn't be made with imported Italian water, but I think I could live with that.)

I'll be interested to see how this plays out. Not all of us can afford deluxe dining, and it's comical to be talking about pizza in that category.
