Nice find - after much cussing and having an assortment of objects thrown around the room, I beat level 3.

Will enter codes into vmk, hopefully they will be good

The reason for using the old asdw keys is if you use old technology, then the kids who are used to arrow keys and having it easy will actually have to slow down a bit. Novel concept!

And who knows, maybe us old farts, who used to play Star Trek using these keys, with "K" for Klingons might actually have a chance!

Old age and trechery, I'm telling you! It's where it's at!

Here is a strategy which just worked for me (and a little luck)

- Kraken takes 7 shots and goes down.
- Therefore go to idol and cruise around and fire 6 shots into Kraken
- Now cruise right into idol and as you are about to hit it fire your 7th shot.
- The Kraken goes under giving you enough time to speed back up and get away.

Being at work I have not had much of a chance to keep trying this approach, however it worked wonders once I got the hang of it. Took me 4 attempts before I figured it out.

This IS hard.....the controls aren't very good. How do you get rid of the ghost ships in level 2? They keep coming back and getting me when they are close to me! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The game got much easier once i figured out what the compass was for. Anyone get an spare middle piece? My ship does not fit together with all the pieces given.

Oh goodness! You're not the only one! Thank goodness I'm alone too because I am literally pounding on my computer in frustration.

I cannot take this today. If anyone could be so kind as to get the level 2 piece and the level 3 piece for me, I would be willing to trade for them.

I'm still on level one, this game is sooo slow, and the controls are even slower, I woke the hubby up, screaming at the game; but he is use to me screaming at the Haunted Mansion game, since my person has a mind totally it's own and doesn't follow the mouse in that game. I can walk away from the computer and the mouse is totally still and the person just walks around the game doing -whatever.

This new pirate game is pretty much the same.

Yeah... I'm feeling a little jipped here: the Bonus Code was pretty much useless as it was the same as the 3rd Level Code. That, and I didn't get a mast! Anyone else feeling this?

Just practice. As with everything in life, there are no handouts. And doing it yourself is so much more satisfying than not.

OK - What on earth am I looking for in level 3?!?!?!? I've done this so many times this morning & have yet to see what I'm trying to pick up!! I thought maybe it was those dead ships...nope. And of course those stinking Krackens are making me crazy! LOL

I'm another one old enough to remember using the ASDW keys...however, I couldn't use them properly back then either!

I don't know if it's the same problem, but Firefox for me had issues.

Explorer worked but sometimes the loading bar (the blue bar at the bottom) would get about halfway and sit there.

Hitting refresh would reload and eventually it would load up.

I think the server is just getting hit pretty hard right now.
