That sums it up....
Okay - after at least 20 tries, tips....
- It takes more shots to sink the monster than you have at any one time.
- Get near the idol. Then - shoot everything you have at the dude. He will fall back for a brief moment. You will get more ammo. Then shoot again, crash into the idol and shoot him again so you can get out of there! Then move to the next idol and repeat the above.
Once I figured out this sequence, I had it won in 2 tries.
Thank you to those of you who tried to offer me tips via pms.
And to the one person who (totally unsolicited and unexpected) offered to trade me for the level three pieces if I could not get it on my own, thank you but -- oh, and the glory of victory is SO much more than the prize. Have not even put in my codes yet - just thrilled that I beat that - nvm this is Disney - monster!

I gave up yesterday before I crushed my laptop in frustration Being the wise woman that I am, I gave the link to DH last night and told HIM to get me the ship pieces that I was missing. I now have a full boat! Woot!

I just finished all 3 levels! It took a while on level 3, but that was because I didn't realize you can shoot the kraken with your cannons! Now to see if the codes work...

Help !!! I am having same problem that someone else said here about ship not moving...I did click on screen but it still will not move...

I have reloaded....clicked and ran screaming around the room but nothing moves my ship...what am I doing wrong....please help

How many pieces make up a full ship? Because I won all 3 levels and I have a total of six pieces (port bow, starboard bow, mast, port stern, starboard stern, and one side). I seem to be missing a side because there is a big hole in my ship where another 'side' piece should be. Do I have to play multiple times to get another one?

Yes, and I think it's dumb because people want a full ship not one with a hole.

I can't beat the Kraken!!!! I only get one Skull Rock and then he destroys my ship!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here. And then it takes too long to speed up and I get eaten by the kraken.

I don't hate the Kraken I HATE the controls and how the ship moves. The other levels it breezes along- level 3 is like it is in TAR!

after all this, VMK should come out with a Kraken pin.

I found after bumping the idol, you're naturally going to start drifting backwards. depending on where you have to go next, use that backwards momentum to turn your ship around and once you have, repeatedly push the W key to get going forward again. and if Kraken shows up behind you or off to the side, start firing. a few times I had him go away after one shot.

and never give up trying to get away from Kraken! a few times I thought he was going to catch me but some how I out ran him.

I am pulling reverse psych on my teenagers....I have challenged them to pass the link to all of their computer friends and just write down the codes for me as they win each level.....'cause you just KNOW they will win everything there is in the game! While I, on the other hand, have several bald spots on my head from ripping my hair out over this thing!

LOL I pulled the same thing on my 15 year old daughters boyfriend! I challenged him to who could beat level 3 first ( I knew it wouldn't be me)
As soon as he got home he started playing and 15 minutes later he started instant messaging my daughter the codes.

Haha, I am the one that gets the codes for my fam. The third level is tough, but if you keep at it you can beat the Kraken!!! Have fun!

even I beat the third level(once so far) and then it would not let me play any more so I had to delete all my cookies and am trying again now....and I still can not play so I now have a hole in my pirate ship

has anyone else experienced this problem???

When I bump the idols, it seems my ship is stunned and I cannot turn or get it to go. The Monster gets me every time 'cause the ship just sits and won't move...

I have that problem with my pc at home. I didn't have such a problem with my much faster pc at work. And, since Monday I'm starting a new position in a different area, I have no idea how fast that pc will be. And if I'll even be able to play the game on it.

I was able to beat level 3 twice at work Friday. And now I can't because of my much slower home computer.


I sick and tired of them creating games that my computer can't handle. They need to realize that now everyone has a brand new super fast computer loaded with tons of memory.

What is everyone talking about with "going fast" and such? My ship can never go faster. It's like a snail.

This is just like my pc at home. Slow as a snail.

I let my husband play it while I went grocery shopping and when I got home, he had 5 ships.

I ain't never playing any of these stupid games again - after all it's right there in the marriage vows: for better or worst. LOL

I got two front ends, one middle piece and a mast. Oh well. Try, try again.

Woohoo!! The second time playing Level 3 and I beat it!! I must be really lucky. My computer is as slow as molasses, and I still beat it. I thought it was the easiest level.

My computer is WIN98 and DSs' computer is XP, but I have the DSL and he has dial-up! He had the nerve to ask me, after winning the first level, if the game gets harder! Ok, little man, we'll just see.....we'll just see!
