Has anyone had experience with the new Photopass. We did, I can say that was the only thing that really ****** about our stay. I just looked for our pictures, some are missing, some of the card #'s don't work and for the picts we can see they are 12.99 EACH. Now I can say they are nickel and diming us a bit too much.

Every picture but one was there when we returned. The bummer was I was really looking forward to the one picture that was missing.

We were missing one of our photos from our card, but after we clicked on the Contact Us tab there was a form to fill out for our missing picture. They found the picture in about 24 hours. I was really glad as it was the picture where stitch appeared in the hat the girls were holding! :cheer2:

We had a good experience with the picture part of the photopass. All of our pictures were on the site, I took a picture of the front of the card when we first received (thanks to a tip here on the boards) because, of course, our numbers wore off. But I do agree about the pricing. The only good thing is occasionaly after you sign in, you'll get an email that has a deal of some sort, but two get one, or free S&H.... things like that. Another good thing, is not having to wait in the camera store at the park closing, or come back after park hopping to see your pics.... they are there when you get home.

do yall know how long it takes for the pics be put online? We will have two laptops this weekend while we are there. My dad and my DH have to be able to get online at all times for work. So we were thinking that we could go ahead and look them up every night to make sure they work and we get the ones we want. Is this possible?

thanks

I used my laptop while I was there a couple of weeks ago, and the pictures were always online when I got back to the hotel room. (Though one of the photographers told me that he has to say that they'll be on-line within 4 days).

It was more like 4 hours.

We only put one picture on the card...since we didn't trust it based on these reviews. When I got home and punched in the code, there were TWO pictures posted. I have no idea who the lady in the other picture was but if someone is missing a photo with Mike and Scully...I might have it! lol

I really liked the photo pass. We had 26 pictures taken on the pass, and they were all there when we got home. I made sure to use only one photopass, and I gave it to the photographer right away.

We also had our niece with us on this trip. We gave the card number to her mom, and everynight, she was able to see our pictures from the day and keep track of us. So, they were loaded onto the site by the evening. She also got a few offers for % off and free prints since she signed in on her email.

I think it was so much easier than having to pick up pictures in the parks. Also, we can pool our order together and get a better discount thanks to the offers. I also like how you can customize the borders on the pictures and things like that.

We had a great experience with PhotoPass and have ordered several. We always had the CM use our cameras too just in case. FYI, while you can use the same photopass card for all your pictures in all the parks you can only view in each park those pictures that were taken at that park or even section. For example, we could only few the pictures taken with Mickey in his Judge's Tent at the photo counter in ToonTown. To see the rest of the MK pics we would have had to go to the main photo counter on Main Street. We didn't and just trusted that we had enough pixie dust floating around us. We lucked up and had wonderful pictures waiting for us online. We were even able to add captions to our pictures before ordering them. So I say use it, but also have the CM use your personal camera, too.

It's new so hopefully they'll work out the bugs.

How are they nickel and diming us with Photopass? It's the same pictures (and price) you'd pay if you bought them at the parks before you left WDW. Now we have the convenience of picking and choosing them from home and even possibly get discounts like AP and Visa discounts.

I love it.

This the exact picture we were missing as well with my DS. Did you specifically state anything that helped them find the picture?

We, also, used only one card for the whole trip. All the shots were there when I checked on Sunday night. I was pretty pleased with the results. I don't think the pricing is all that bad. I remembered to check out the in-park pricing since there were people here that thought the on-line shots were more money. But the 5x7's were pretty much the same.

Have to say that I like being able to 'personalize' our photos and choose them at our convenience, rather than in a huge crowd toward the end of the day, then worry about them getting squished on the flight home.

The gift shop on the 2nd floor of the GF lobby is the only place on property that you can take your photopass card & view all photos ( no matter where they were taken ).We did this last week & viewed all 56 photos taken during our trip.
Also, you don't have as many options at home to edit & add borders etc. to your pics. The CMs at the parks & the GF have a bunch more options ,so it might not be a bad idea to look at them before you leave to return home from your trip.
