New photo released by Universal Orlando Resort from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter of the Hog's Head Pub. You can see it on the DIS Unplugged blog. It looks pretty cool, and looks like the hog's head will be an interactive audioanimatronic.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I'll get a chance to see in person this during my trip this weekend? Hmmmm, I wonder... (rubbing chin)...

I would settle for just a sip of some Butterbeer.

Am I the only one that's underwhelmed by this? The picture of a boar is not going to get me to visit Universal. Disney's had talking animal figures since the 60's!

I'm thinking of two things that make me giggle:

The characters on the wall at Country Bear Jamboree and the Yakoose, formerly of The Adventurers Club. :wizard:

You know it's funny Mike. I didn't think of it until you mentioned it, but yes, it is very Country Bear Jamboree isn't it? I still want some Butterbeer.

All the food and drinks sound amazing. I listen to Pottercast (a HP podcast, naturally!), and a couple episodes ago, one of the podcasters did a press event to see the inside of Hogwarts Castle (walkthrough parts only) and to taste the grand feast you can get at the Three Broomsticks.

Melissa (the host who went) made it all sound incredible.

I listen to Mugglecast (a different Harry Potter podcast), and they've said similar things. I think it was Eric who got to go to that same press event, and he, too, said that everything was just spectacular, from the decor to the food and drinks. I wish I had plans to go this summer, but it just isn't working out.

I'll admit, I think the picture looks a little creepy.

I hope everyone who does make it down there this summer has a great time!
