new perk pages info on DVC member site

There is some info on the DVC member site about new perk pages that are to come in the welcome home folder on check in. They are also supposed to have "portable Perks" to take with you to better take advantage of any perks being offered to DVC memebers.

Has anyone seen these yet? They look nice in the picture on the site. Mini newspaper type thing with color printing.

Check out the site to read a LITTLE about them.

The "Perk Pages" started on Sep 1. It replaces the old member discount sheet we used to receive. The new publication is a nice "newspaper" style offering with all DVC member discounts and perks.

There is also a pocket sized "Portable Perks" which includes the same information. Is a nice die-cut offering with mouse ears at the top and is small enough to fit in a pocket or waist pack.

In this inaugural issue (good Sep 1-October 31) there is a nice mention about pool hopping, the 10% member discount on UPH, a reminder of the member updates at OKW and BWV, member freebies (Valet parking and Video rental), plus the usual listings of discounted dining, shopping, admission to PI, DQ and tours, golfing discounts.

Both "Perks" are nicely done.

Thanks for the info on the new perks pages. I am wondering about the portable perks though. From the picture on the site it looks like the ears cut out at the top almost doubles the size.

Do the ears stick out of the pocket you have the perks info in or can you fold over the ears and make them more compact?

Just curious. I will find out for my self in 120 days or so. I get top make PS this week!

The ears only have heading information printed on them and could easily be folded over or cut off without loss of any pertinent information. They are mainly decorative.

How do I get onto the members pages. I don't have a code or anything except my member number and that's not allowing me access.

We don't post that information on the site as it's a Member exclusive website.

Take a look at the literature that you received. It may be in there. (It's on page 9 of the Member Guidebook.) It also appears in the Vacation Magic magazine that members receives.

I am not DVCReg but I can answer this one

the vacation magic is sent out quarterly. I hope to be getting the fall issue soon as I just read it on the site after I found the news on the perks pages that started this thread.
