New passport

DD new passport arrived this morning

Does anyone else have this new style? It feels so strange info on the first age rather than the sat and feels flimsy!

carnt find the magic chip anywhere

My DH sent his form off on 17th May and we got it back on 28th May!!! Very impressed with how quick it was, not so impressed with the actually passport! It's kind of weird and his picture (which isn't a photo, it's a laser picture) makes him look.....umm...odd hahah sorry DH! £78 though! Cor!!

I didnt' know they changed them. Oh no! I am about to apply for a new one for DD as we need new ESTAs and hers only has 9 months left so it is cheaper to get the new one now and have our ESTAs in sync.

My nephew's one has the photo at the front & also the pages have pictures sort of like watermarks on them.

Don't think they have the chips in them now. It will only change again in a couple of years to reduce the chance of them being copied.

When DH got his new passport it came with a little tag on it saying 'your microchip is under here' or words to that effect. It is well hidden so I am sure all your new ones have it too.
