New Passport

I need to renew my passport and wondered if anyone has renewed recently. Wondered how long it took to get your passport back

Done two recently, 1st one back in 10 days and the 2nd one was back in 7 days - I was amazed expected much longer.

DDs was back in about a week as well although we had it checked and sent through the post office which makes it slightly quicker

We did this time last year. Used the post office check service and they were back within a week.

These were renewals. Was very impressed with speed.

I applied for a renewal a few days ago with a post office check, the woman said they are usual back well within the 10day time.

Post office checks cost an extra £9 (approx)

Did mine with post office for DD sent on Tuesday- delivered by courier on Thursday!!!

A friend did hers - Post Office on Friday - arrived by courier on the Wednesday

We have just received our new passports and it took two weeks turn around...again i agree ,really quick!

I'm just waiting for my new one to be delivered - sent off about 11 days ago, money taken from my account last week.

Mine took 12 days... and I used the check and send service at the Post Office, Thats ages compared to some of you other people!

I renewed my DD's last month. I did the renewal forms on line which came to me all printed up and then I signed them & added photos etc and sent back. I didn;t bother with the PO check and send and just sent them normal post and 1 was returned in 7 days and the 2nd in 10 days

I did the same and it took 6 weeks I did change my name on my passport due to marriage though so I guess that takes longer
