"NEW' Pal Mickey?

Wondering if the "new" Pal Mickey's are out? Are they worth it? If you already have a pal mickey? Is there much difference? Any info or comments on your new pal mickey or comparison would be appreciated.

I didn't have the first Pal Mickey but, we bought the new one in the tux. He came with a lanyard and a clip. We used the clip and it worked great; no problems with it. He was loud enough to hear (I've heard the first Pal Mickey wasn't loud enough). The kiddos did take off his tux because after all it's so hot at WDW in the spring. He's a cute toy that I still like to play with now that we're home...I mean the kids like to play with.

We just returned from a trip and had the "New" my pal. He was certainly loud enough. When he would start to giggle we would crowd around to hear him. He told some really corny jokes and got us all singing together throught the parks! If you go the website and play the game and win then you get a special certificate that you can print out and then take it with you when you purchase it and they will scan in a new code and he will tell 7 secrets... We never heard them. But We went during a Hurricane and he spent a good deal of time in plastic in our backpack so that he would not get wet. We did have fun with him (myself, DH, DS 14, DS 11, DD 2) and if you have the extra money I say yes! If you have never been before than most definately!!

I bought my first Pal Mickey in June. He's loud enough to hear. I like having the lanyard to carry him around with. I'm afraid I wouldn't be paying attention and somehow he would slip off if I just had the clip. I think he's worth it!

I think that it only works with the special edition Mickeys... when you play the game Mickey wears a tux just like the new "Pal"..

I have the Mickey with the tux, I wonder if I could play the game & get the secrets on my next visit to WDW? Where is the game anyway and/or what is it called? TIA!

You can only redeem the game certificate at the time u purchase a pal mickey..with the certificate u get a pin and 7 secret saying that only pal purchased with the certificate will have.. you cant use the certificate to get the sayings for a pal that u already own u would need to buy a new pal...for any and all pal mickey questions you should check out palmickey.net

Did someone say that he sings?! My old Pal didn't sing (that I can remember from 2003). If so, I hope that my old Pal will sing too this year!

Your old pal mickey will only be able to do the functions he was able to do before...he will not be able to perform any of the updated or new features that the new pal has. Again i recommend palmickey.net for any questions u have on pal mickey
