New pal mickey

Has anyone bought the new pal mickey that has just been released, if so are there any improvements from the previous tuxedo mickey? Thanks

I inquired last week when we were there and castmembers said that there were no improvements made, he just got a new outfit

Are the Pal Mickeys worth the $$? I have a DS4 and a DD1. I see them every trip...but never buy it!

You can get the old one, 50th Pal Mickey at the outlets for 34.99. then it's worth the money. My DS(8) and DD(3) love him and he does keep them happy in lines and tells me things I either forgot or didn't know. He is heavy tho so I don't think a little would cary him all day.

I bought the original Pal Mickey on clearance when the 50th replaced him. I had no idea that the 50th would be discounted before we went in October! Anyway, we used him for the first time last month. The kids LOVED PM! Even though he wasn't programmed with info on the new attractions, he still had lots of fun facts and corny jokes.

Even though he [50th Anniv. (Tuxedo) PM] wasn't programmed with info on the new attractions...

That would only be Turtle Talk, Nemo's Clam Mobiles, "Finding Nemo, the Musical" and maybe EE (but I think he may even "know" about THAT.)

So I don't think that the 50th Anniv. (Tuxedo) PM will be too "out-dated" even when they open the "Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor" in MK and (maybe) the rumored new Toy Story dark ride at MGM.
