I would suggest you contact your travel agent to see if you can get the discount.

Fiona
Thanks Fiona I just emailed her the info and left a message, on her voice mail. She's in at 12:30 so we'll see.

Ours actually worked out to $451.94 in total.

It certainly appears to me that the discount code is applicable only to packages, but I may be incorrect on that.

If you need more information, there's a write up of it on the "wdwinfo.com" site (which I think is associated with this site). Go there and in the upper right hand corner there is a box with 'Discounts' in it... it's the "Package Discount" that you're looking for.

Not every day you get a cash gift like this. Guess we'll have to use it to book another trip. That is providing we can get cheep cheep airfare from Buffalo on Southwest. :)

Jim.

Jim - actually this package code was released last night. I posted about it on another thread. :)

Unfortunately no, CAA discounted packages can not be combined with any other offer. This is why a lot of people choose to not book the CAA discount but rather wait patiently for a 'better' one to come along from Disney directly. :thumbsup2

Kathy - I would still call your travel agent because it can't hurt to ask. Did you have a discounted package already? If not it's possible that the new code can be applied to your package.

Asking because when we checked the prices at CAA they were no different than from Disney -- no discount at all and we ended up booking with Dreams who have been great in all the trips we've booked with them.

Dana is calling Disney and will get back to me today. It can't hurt to ask. We are pleased with our current package as it was $400 less USD then our other TA had quoted us. Kat

Hi, DG and i booked a trip for disney a few weeks ago directly through the disney website. Is it possible to apply this discount to a package that has already been booked.
thanks, danny

CAA could have rebooked everything and saved me $137 USD but I would have to rebook everything re my dining etc and we would not be able to stay at POFQ, so I'm gonna just leave things as they are! It was worth a try !

Why would you have to re book all of your dining?

Because our trip is already paid off, so the entire package would have to be cancelled and then rebooked using the code therefore all of our dining would need to be rebook because those that require a CC to reserve would need to be rebook as they are tied to the original booking. The kids wanna stay at POFQ anyways. So I choose to just keep things as they are. Take Care Kathy

Okay thanks, you had me worried so I called in after changing ours to make sure all of our ADR's were okay. :confused3 Everything was fine even though our reservation number changed.

ABSOLUTELY! Get thee to a phone and call Disney pronto! :thumbsup2

I have a room only at ASMusic for Dec - CAA rate of $63/night. I have already bought our 10day MYW non-expiring hopper plus passes for the 4 of us -- so what can this get me? :guilty: Is it worth it for me to get the package, and just "save" the MYW passes for another time? (although we'd have to pay to upgrade DD's from a child if we don't activate it before next spring).

I'm going to check out the link, but any info you can give me here is always appreciated.

TIA

MaryLiz

Maryliz, try pricing the disounted package with just a one-day base ticket.

I doubt it will be worth it, but it doesn't hurt to try.

This discount worked out great for us!

We were going to go in early Feb. but now we are going early Dec.
We were able to save close to $500 for our WDW ressie + a better airfare + we don't have to worry about possible passport costs! :cool1:

PIXIE DUST! :wizard:

How did you make out MaryLiz?

I have the same CAA rate as you and already had days left on a ticket, plus bought another from Undercovertourist before the ticket increase. I looked into the package online, but didn't look like my dates were available. I left it a bit late to look into it, too. I'm really better off the way I have it because DH goes off golfing.
