While I am very glad for you, it's very aggravating to hear someone get this when my FIL has been waiting for his guide to piece together 150-200 at BCV for him and we are going on 2 months now.

How fast was your guide able to do this?

Thanks all for the love....wecome home... Now it's for real! I have been lucky enough to tradeinto DVC properties from my Hyatt property through Interval but I never quite felt like I was "Coming home". Can't wait to see Art!

I'm already booked for my stay in December 06 and had a stroke of good luck with that as well!

Zulaya - I think that since I elected to take any use year (or month....I'm new around here!)... that gave DVC flexability to work with me. My guide was very clear that there wasn't anything she could do or strings she could pull - but when I told my 6 year old son and 5 year old daughter to wish upon a star - magic started to happen! Also VASCUBAGUY was on my team!

Just a recommendation, but your FIL might want to routinely check-in with his guide to see if something is out there, and make sure the guide is still checking. DVC ROFR's contracts all the time, so there are points coming in. If his guide isn't checking on a regular basis it could be a really long time.

Congrats, this same thing happened to me last month. Got 160 Feb UY after just 1 week on waitlist. DVC must finally be getting aggressive about ROFRing those BCV contracts. Glad you decided to give DVC a call.

Congrats! My brother just bought 200 BCV points from DVC too, after looking into a few different resales that didn't pan out (were already sold, were stripped, etc.). I was surprised to hear he was able to, since I was under the impression that BCV was the one resort that was waiting list-only.
