New Online DVC Tool to Add On Points?

Has anyone seen this from the July 2020 Member Insider email (I just received it today):

"A new way to add points
With our new online tool, you can now add on points for available Disney Vacation Club® Resorts—including previously sold out ones!"

Has anyone heard about this before? There's no link in the email for more details.

Thanks. So for sold-out resorts all this tool does is to send your request to DVC? Not much of a "tool" as I could easily do that by contacting my guide. And it doesn't list all resorts, for example I noticed VGC is missing.

I know I can get much better prices on the resale market, I was just curious about this "new" tool from DVC.

I wonder who messed up by leaving the link out of the email?

I think the point is that now you can see the pricing and for now it goes to a guide but possibly in the future it will be automatic and even take CC payment? Its likely a test to see how many people even request info or run numbers on the new resorts.
