We are on board the Fantasy right now. (Don't know if this has been posted previously)

The new navigator app is pretty fun. When you join the wifi it does block out the Internet for all other apps, just so you know. We are able to check menus, see activity times, find deck plans, etc. they are just testing it, but I can see the amount of usefulness increasing as they implement more.
One thing I wish they had was a schedule so we could have a personalized calendar lay out of our scheduled activities. I may note of that for our feedback so hopefully they can figure something out.

It was posted on the disneycruiselineblog and I know it was tested a year ago. A coworker sailed on the Fantasy on Nov '12 and participated in the test study.

They loved the fact that you could have all your trips navigators so it was easier to plan out from day one.

One of the problems with the approach of a walled garden (you cannot connect to the internet) is the other applications that detect wifi connectivity and hence attempt to connect (email for example).

Suggestions I would add would be:

* Ability to view your Shutters pictures - useful in tablets
* Develop a Wave app - instead of carrying two devices, you'll need just one

And, though I haven't seen, I would surely hope that it's an universal app - that is, it is optimized not only for phones but also for tablets.
