"NEW" OKW points

For those of you who have recently done Disney add ons at OKW, what have been the available use years they have for sale? Don't know if I could justify it but.... August is my month

I know that February was available. Still, I think you may have a misconception about how add-ons work at the sold out resorts. You get on a list (thru your guide) and they call you when your name is first on the list, and points have become available in your use year. As I understand it, there are many, many people on the list waiting for points in every use year. I also have contracts in March and August, but if I didn't list for them, I can't cut ahead of someone who is already listed for those months. There is a definite order for this, so get in line

I was wondering the same thing. Last night my father told me he would buy me 100 pt add-on. We like OKW, so we thought we'd get on the "list" for a September use year.

Another question. Does anyone happen to know... let's say I'm #1 on the "list". I'm looking for 100 pts. A different amount (say 150 or 50) become available. Will they offer me those, or will they go to the first person requesting that number of points?

No I understand that, but was wondering if anyone had gotten any August add ons recently, if so, there may be more. Probably if I were to call and ask, I wouldn't be told how many were on the list, just to get on the list. Was just wondering if anyone had gotten my month recently with Mickey's "buyback frenzy" of late?

We were in your exact position(Sept use yr) last year.We were 3rd on the waiting list for OKW points for about 10 months , when they finally called we just had added on 200 pts at VB.
They called and said we could have had any amount we wanted between 50-200 pts at OKW.This was about 4 months ago, and now DVC is buying back a lot of ROFR contracts, so your wait may not take a year like ours did. We are very happy wth VB and glad we got it for $62 pt with MB's.

August was available to us in December. I spoke with our guide about a friend's purchase and inquired about an add-on (resisted the temptation.) We were not on a waitlist, BTW.

Call and see if they are still around! With the subsequent increase in Disney purchasing resales, you may have an increased chance of getting them. Good luck!
