I too have been looking at flights, but so far in our entire area there is only ONE non-stop flight available ... and the times just won't work for us. It is much more expensive than when we flew down last year. Even the ones with layovers are up there in price.

Oh well. No chance of driving for us. DH drives all day long - he refuses to if we're going anywhere that is more than 3 hours drive (and since Orlando is about 17 hours away ... )

I know this is off the subject of the plane tickets, but I just found out that we will be at disney probably durring the MNSSHP (we are going th 14-20th of sept). My sister and I are pretty bummed about this because it will be her first time going as an adult and taking her daughter and husband and she wanted them to see the park normal. Anyway, I was wondering if you would all be able to clarify some things for me. First, do all the night parades and fireworks become "halloweeny" even on the nights that the party isn't scheduled? Also, will they have magic hours for MK on nights that the party isn't taking place? I want to be able to enjoy magic hours without having to pay more :( Any clarification would be great! Thanks all!

Hello and welcome to the board!

AFAIK, the parades and fireworks are "normal" on the nights MNSSHP is not taking place, and I believe the EMH are on Thursday evenings some weeks, and MNSSHP is mostly on Tuesdays and Fridays ... especially that early in the party season. I might be wrong, but that is my general understanding.

Also, the parks would be normal ... just decorated with cool fallish decorations like pumpkins, banners, leaves, etc. It is really pretty that time of year - your sister and her DH would probably enjoy it.

im on pins and needles waiting for March 1st and a new disney discount! i really hope it covers September so i can book already. worse case i figured out i could get my trip right around $2700 if i book a room only and get tickets visa the YES program. my older daughter would enjoy the class and it would knock about $300 off the cost of tickets. But here is what im worried about, i'll book with YES and then a better package discount will come out and i'll have to buy a package and be stuck buying extra park tickets i dont need since the YES tickets are non refundable....would it be worth it to buy no expire option for those tickets and just save them for the NEXT trip?

i wonder how quickly those september classes fill up. there is only ONE that my 7 year old would be able to take during the time of our trip

My family and I are going September 16-25 we are doing a split stay this trip!! :cool1::banana:

BLT 16-22
BWV 22-25

SO excited for them to announce the park hours and MNSSHP!! :cool1::cool1::cool1::banana::banana::banana::dance3::dance3::dance3::cheer2::cheer2:

i will def book our 2013 trip with the bounceback offer we in our room if its something decent! but what if i need to change the dates after i book it?

Ok, so my insanity is going to come shining through for this post (be warned)

I am not sure that we are going YET. We are really hoping for FREE DINING!! And if it comes out I am going to book - however the insane side of me needs to pre-plan my schedule before I book.

Disney insists on making us wait until the 180 day mark before they release the park times, parades and firework schedule. I need to know what dates fantasmic is showing so we can see it while we are there.

Does anyone know when Fantasmic or MNSSHP will be the week of 09/29 - 10/08(these are my imaginary dates)

Any info would be appreciated!!

You will see Fantasmic listed, and then on nights where MK closes at 7pm is MNSSHP. Happy planning!

Note that the October calendar is still for 2011, but it can give you a general idea of hours and party nights. You were correct to replace sept with oct, but you'll have to keep checking every day to see when it changes over to 2012 hours. Hopefully soon!

You can put us down for September 23rd through September 29th!
We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge.

Fingers crossed for free dining!

Have the dates for Mickey's not so scary Halloween party released yet?
I can't seem to find the dates it's being offered.

We just booked our vacation for the 9th - 15th! :cool1: We'll be at the treehouse villas.

No, from what I've heard the dates will be released in the end of april and the tickets will be available from the beginning of may. You can get an idea when it might be from the calendar that's been posted though, just look for the dates where MK closes at 7pm.
